Editorial Notes

As many customer reviews stated, Secure Home Warranty representatives were happy to sign a contract with the customers but were very hard to reach when it was time to file a claim. Even when customers managed to reach a representative, many claims were declined because the items were not covered, even though the representatives said otherwise when they were selling the contract.

It was very difficult for customers to cancel the contract and get a refund from Secure Home Warranty, and lawyers were unable to help. The only recommendation we can give you in this Secure Home Warranty review on how to get your money back is to report them to your credit card company as a home warranty scam to get all charges refunded.

Companies like Secure Home Warranty cause great damage to the industry’s reputation. However, not every home warranty company is a scam. Below you can see the reviews of our best home warranty companies. Please read them carefully before you sign the contract.

Customer Reviews and Feedback

Quotes from actual customer reviews:

If there are any lawyers who would like to put together a class action law suit against this company, that has taken a lot of different peoples' money, please count me in! I paid $699 for a 2 and a half year policy and now a little more than having the policy for a year they have gone under.

Yelp, Los Angeles, California January 22, 2018

The one claim that they handled took two months to get a service tech on site as they do not pay their service companies. The claim took forever to report as they do not answer their phones. The claim that they owe me for was for 225 dollars on a stove replacement that cost me 2200.00 dollars. They never sent the 225 and now I cannot contact them. I have tried daily for two months. My attempts to contact them have resulted in unfulfilled promises, then voicemail, then dropped phone calls, then disconnected service.

The Final Words

Is Secure Home Warranty Good?

To close this Secure Home Warranty review, we can say that, unfortunately, not every home warranty company in the USA is trustworthy. This, of course, does not mean that every home warranty is a scam. It only means that before signing the contract, the client should exercise caution and do research about the company’s reputation and trustworthiness.

ReviewHomeWarranties.com collects information on every company in our database from various sources. We carefully read and analyze customer reviews on multiple consumer reporting sites, including Google Reviews and the BBB. We hope that our effort will help you select the best home warranty plan that will cover the most important systems and appliances in your house.
