I’ve been a customer of Landmark for a year when I had several appliances break down. Each time a contractor was sent out to repair. One appliance could not be repaired, but was adequately compensated with a check, and used that to put down on a new appliance (clothes washer). Each time all I had to pay was a $60 service call fee. When time to renew came up, I gladly renewed my warranty with Landmark. My Landmark rep. was also very cordial, and professional.

Kevin O.

The customers that left negative reviews were not completely satisfied with the contractor’s services, but the company representative’s showed high professionalism by reacting to each concern.

Coverage

Before you start reading this section, take a look around your house. Think about which home systems and appliances you would like to cover under home warranty and then read this section carefully. Does Landmark Home Warranty meet your expectations for coverage?

Customers who skip this section in our reviews later post negative feedback on consumer report sites about how the company refused to cover certain parts of their home systems or appliances that were not included in the contract in the first place. This is why it is always good to go through the list of covered and noncovered items in order to know in advance what to expect from any home warranty company.

Plans and Costs

Once you have decided which home systems and appliances you want to be covered, it is time to select a plan that will satisfy all of your needs for a home warranty.

Landmark Home Warranty coverage plans include the following options: the Home Systems Plan for as little as $35 a month and the Total Protection Plan for $56 a month. These prices are comparable to the prices of industry leaders such as Choice Home Warranty and Select Home Warranty.

The Home Systems Plan includes home systems repairs and tune-ups, as well as pest control and subterranean termite treatment. This plan is the best one if you had your kitchen and laundry appliances recently updated, and they are still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Please remember that the manufacturer’s warranty and home warranty cannot be combined.

The Total Protection Plan covers all home systems mentioned in the table below, plus pest control and termite treatment, and on top of that all major kitchen appliances, central vacuum, washer and dryer, and garage door opener. This plan will work the best for homeowners who prefer to have peace of mind by covering as much as possible under home warranty protection.

Both plans can have add-ons, such as coverage for a booster pump, salt-water equipment, wet bar refrigerator, grinder pump, water softener, well pump, roof, and exterior piping repairs, and other items.
